■ What sizes of Marbles do we Have?

We carry the following sizes.
Not all sizes are available in all colors.
That is, not all colors are available in all sizes...eh, okay, you know what I mean!
However, it does not hurt to EMAIL us if you have a question!
Please note that there can and will be some small variations in size (as well as color).

■ Why do I need marbles?

● For those of you who have lost yours, you will find that it is much cheaper
     to buy marbles from us than to visit your shrink! heeheee....okay now,
     seriously....
     We have very high quality glass marbles for your games, crafts, aquariums, vases and more.

■ Marble Language

●	RAINBOW ~ Usually a solid color with bands of another color. In our descriptions, we give the base color first, then the band(s) color(s). These may have two colors or three colors. Example: RB Black/Red or RB White/Red/Blue.
●	CATSEYE (also Cateye, Cat's Eye, etc) ~ Generally a clear or clear color based marble with vanes of solid color in it. Most of our CE marbles have four vanes (I think!)
●	SOLID ~ These marbles are one solid color without any degree of light transference through them. They are opaque. Example, most game marbles are solid colored marbles.
●	IRIDIZED ~ This is a coating applied to any color or type of marble. It makes a shiny, kind of mirror or metallic finish but you can still see the color of the marble underneath. These marbles are pretty and very popular for decorations in particular. We carry a limited number of IRIDIZED marbles. However we can have ANY marbles you order IRIDIZED. Please allow a three week or more lead time before shipping. You must prepay to have this done (no additional charges, though) and while this is refundable before the ship date but will be charged a 15% restock fee, no exceptions.
●	GAME MARBLES ~ Generally but not always, solid colored marbles used for many games including Aggravation and Chinese Checkers.
●	DIAMETER ~ This is the measurement THROUGH the center of the marble at its widest point. If you need to match a certain size that you already have, the best way to measure a ball is to use calipers. If these are not in your tool box, there are other ways. For instance, set the marble firmly between two hard, flat, vertical surfaces. (Like two small boxes). Then measure across the space above the marble with your ruler. Do NOT push so hard you bend the surfaces as this can change your measurement.
●	CLEARY, PURIE, MARINE CRYSTAL ~ These are all terms for clear marbles that have are either clear or clear colors. Light goes through the marble easily and they have NO other characteristics like vanes, opalizing within, cloudiness, color bands, etc.
●	OPALIZED ~ These are generally a single colored marble but the interior is not see through like a Cleary. It is instead, translucent.
●	TRANSLUCENT ~ This is a quality of solid color marble that you cannot see through but it does allow some light to pass through part or all of it.
●	OPAQUE COLORS ~ Same as solid colors. Not light whatsoever can pass through the marble's form.

■ Our Sources, Are these made in America?

● We have very high quality glass marbles for your games, crafts, aquariums, vases and more.
     Unless stated otherwise, all the marbles on this site are made in the USA.
     If we do not know for sure, or there are any of foreign source, that will be stated.

● NOTE: If you have purchased a Chinese Checkers GAME recently in the stores, you probably
      found that they included the ugliest marbles imaginable with it!
      Replace them with ours! We offer high quality, bright, true colors ~ AMERICAN made
     Chinese Checkers marble sets. The most common size for CC sets is 9/16".

■ Shipping Costs & Order Information

● Marbles may be ordered by the piece or by the pound.
     If you require a specific count, you will be charged the "each" price because of
     time required to give you that exact number of marbles.

● We basically try to charge actual shipping plus $1.50 (per box) packaging & handling.
     There may be cases where the shopping cart overcharges you. If you get overcharged
     more than $2, we refund that money to you. If the shopping cart UNDER charges you
     on shipping, that depends. Small amounts, we eat the cost.
     Larger amounts, we will invoice you for the difference.

● Shipping cost depends on packaged weight and your zip code zone.
     Please contact us for an estimated shipping cost.

	Here are some shipping cost as examples: Going Postal (A personal rant you need to read - it's your money!)
●	We can ship up to 3 pounds of marbles anywhere in the USA for $7.15
●	We can ship up to 15 pounds of marbles anywhere in the USA for $11.40
●	We can ship up to 25 pounds of marbles anywhere in the USA for $15.20

● We ship WORLD WIDE! We charge ACTUAL SHIPPING plus $3 handling/packaging per order.

● If the shopping cart does not charge enough shipping, we may contact you with an invoice
for additional shipping. This usually happens with foreign shipments but CAN happen within the USA, too.

■ PRICING and Quantity Breaks

● Where price breaks are available in certain quantity ranges (like 1-5 pounds for example)
       you will be provided a shopping cart button that reflects that price break.
       However, do not cheat and use the wrong button to get a lower price.
       We will invoice you for the balance before shipping the order. Thanks!

● MARBLES prices are posted with each color, size, and price break.

●   All prices are subject to change without notice either due to fluctuations
       in supply, cost, OR webmaster error! (Horrors, did I say that?)

■ How to buy ~ How to Pay. You are welcome to choose:

● Use the online payment service PayPal.

■ Return policy
● You MUST contact us about the problem and get authorization to return the marbles BEFORE YOU RETURN THEM. All marbles returned WITHOUT authorization become the property of Missouri Trading Company / MarblesMarbles once again. We do NOT reimburse return shipping costs to you unless we agree to do so in writing. We do not reimburse original shipping/handling charges.
● We do charge 15% restocking fee for returned orders.
(Note: Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express respect a merchant's posted policies.)
● We do charge 15% restocking fee for cancelled special orders if we have already committed ourselves to procurement of your items (such as large orders, orders for IRIDIZED marbles not normally in stock, etc.)

● If we mess up...We will ship your corrected order upon receiving your authorized return. When you call your order in, we read it back to you and consider that proof of what you really mean to order so listen carefully and be sure we understand what you want. This is your responsibility. We will bust our tails to be sure you receive what you ordered!
● If we mess up...Missing marbles. Not likely, We are very careful to avoid making mistakes or mis-counts. All orders get double and tripled checked for quantity, size, color and type. Game sets are counted then weighed to check the count for accuracy.

■ What happens if YOU yell at US?
● We always try to fix your problem. But... if you are rude or yell, forget it. Life's too short!

Please understand, we are definitely not out to gouge or cheat anyone in anyway. However, I have to have a stated policy that protects me against goofy deals like this one: Guy calls in, orders among other things, 30 lavender marbles and I read it back to him that he wanted 30 lavender marbles and he agreed he that was correct that he wanted 30 lavender marbles so then I ship 30 lavender marbles. But when he received the 30 lavender marbles, he called me and sent scathing, lengthy emails, screaming that I was supposed to have sent 50 orange marbles to him instead of the 30 lavender marbles and he wanted everything FREE. Free 30 lavender marbles, free 50 orange marbles and free shipping. Trust me, this does not make me very cooperative!
Just happened November ..... really!
